umm ive been reading searches doing my xmas list shopping type thing...

Ive noticed the horn in the Z is kinda weak in my perspective, any one have sound clips or video of other horns put into the Z more sporty more exotic etc...


And please dont meantion the TRAIN horn, yes i enjoy watching that stuff but am no where near wanting to put that on my car haha

 

I hear the Optional Nissan Z sport horn sounds much nicer. Cheap, too; got it on my Xmas list.

 

You guys must honk a lot! That is the biggest waste of money I have ever heard. Just an opinion though, to each his own.

 

Ha, naw; hardly ever use the horn, actually. Just looking for cheap, easy to order stocking stuffer ideas that the wife can get me. I DO hate the stock horn, though, whenever I have to use it, so it sure can't hurt...

I hate the stock sound IMO. Everytime i encounter a moron on the road or try to call attention when i need it..The sound pisses me off even more. Sounds like a Ford Taurus!

Are the JDM sports horns any louder than the crap ones we have?

 

I want to get a pair of Titan horns ... they are much more manly than the Z horns!

i like the sound of that one, and the price. has anyone from here bot one? i have the nismo sport horns. they are like an octave higher than stock, but still not very loud.

 

does anyone know the decibel rating of the nismo sports horns? the ebay horn produces 139db.

 

Has anyone tried to install this horn using (only) the relay for the original factory horns? The original relay is rated at 15 amps whereas the Sebel instructions call for a 20 amp relay (supplied with the horn).

Also, any thoughts about where to mount the Sebel? Has anyone fabricated a custom bracket?

I am considering running the Sebel along with the factory horns-- all controlled by the same horn button. (This scheme would definitely require using the Sebel relay.) Anyone who has tried this hookup?
