I still have to adjust the latch a little and thanks to my Z brothers I know how to. Juswt wondering if I have to take the front bumper off to do it? So do I have to wax this thing more than normal? Thanks again fella's!

its ok for the motor to get a little wet. it looks like the louvres(sp?) direct the rain into certain channels.

Does your hood vibrate much at high speeds? Do you think you need hood pins or do you think it's safe without using them?

I am really interested in this same hood but I do not want to have to use hood pins. If I have to use pins, I don't want it.

if you don't drive at 100+ miles/hr then you're ok.

LOL nice to see someone else claimed my car as theirs on that zmodified site. Bad enough it was up for auction on ebay 3 times without my knowledge.

p.s. about the 100+ miles comment is that true for all cf hoods. Are they that much lighter than stock that you really have to get pins for fast drving or is there a non-weight related reason. Because if so that sucks =[

Actually almost all wet CF Z hoods are heavier than stock. The pins are because you do not want the hood latch on the hood to come free. Cause then you got real problems at 100+

Well then why doesnt a stock Z have pins? Doesnt make sense to me that if you put on a potenitally heavier hood that fits right you need another method to secure it. The latch is no different. I mean of course you'll have probs if a hood isnt secure at those speeds i just dont see why it wouldnt be the say at the oem setup
