Default 350Z Headlights

I have recently purchased a Z. I was wondering if anyone has tried to take out the yellow reflector in the headlight. If so, is it easy and what is involved? I haven't had the time yet to see if the headlight assembly is easy to take apart. Also, there seems to be a bulb below the xenon headlight bulb that isn't xenon and when you turn the headlight on they both light up. In my opinion I think that takes away from the xenon bulb when the headlights are lit. Has anyone taken that bulb out or decided to get the bulb changed. Just want to get some opinions. Thanks
