Default vertical door conversions

(I know I'll probably get slammed for asking, but here it goes...)

Has anyone installed lambo type doors on their Z?
If so, what was the result? Any structural problems?
Do they make it more or less difficult to enter/exit the car?
Also, does anyone have any info on what brand(s) are best?

sorry if you guys hate these things...they just look so cool and seem to be a great solution for avoiding door bangs in a parking situation.

Thanks for the info.

Love it, rice and all, I really don't care. It gives your car that show car quality. My friend had to adjust it every month though just to make sure it's a tight fit. Maybe someone here with 1st hand experience can enlighten you more.

As for door bangs, u hitting other person's car should be avoidable 100%. What's unavoidable is other idiots hitting you no?

Heres mine...I just got it done in October. Im really happy with them, its an LSD kit and the fitment is perfect. The doors open and shut normally (aside from a light spring to the door when you open it). The door opens just enough to where you dont have to raise it if you dont want to and still get in.

There are a couple other guys in the Mid Atlantic forum that have other kits you should check them out to.

They go out then up so I'd advise not parking so close.
