Heated Seats Rocker Switch Cover
Ok, surely I am not the only person in the world who rests their right arm on the center console while driving. This has never been a problem for me in the past, but with my Z I am having some issues. I constantly put my elbow on the OEM rocker switch for the heated seats and turn them on. I think the placement of the switches is quite possibly the biggest mistake Nissan made when building the car.
What I am wondering is if anyone has built a cover for the switches? I have noticed the ashtray cover is about the same size. I am considering buying a new ashtray and trying to modify it to cover the switches and make it look as OEM as possible.
Has anyone else tried anything like this?

So far someone mentioned that using the 06 a/c controls on a pre-06 Z doesn't work. You get no control over the air flow/temperature. Unless someone's figured a way around that, or found out what's wrong... because you need to use the 06 a/c controls along w/ that center armrest area.

The layout is still the same, so all you really have to do is get the control module (white plastic box) for the '06. It sits behind the HVAC controls on this panel.

Go here: http://www.zarmrest.com/product/
They offer a leather vinyl trim. http://www.zcarparts.com only offers a carbon fiber material(which I think is very cheesy looking)
zarmrest is also offering a $20 off special right now so it's the same price. $59.99
I saw this product a long time ago when it was going for $80 and didn't think it was worth it for that price. I'm still on the fence

Also said that the pre-06 control unit wasn't able to be placed into the 06 console piece for some reason. I've been waiting to see if anyone else had tried or has figured out a solution but haven't seen anything on it yet.
