Default Finally decided and purchased a lip.

I finally decided and purchased a lip and it wasn't even the two choices I had narrowed down to, which were the JP vizage type B lip or the Kamari Lip. I changed my mind because it was a good deal on this lip.

Here is what I ended up with:
JDM Nissan 350z Central 20 Lip Spoiler.

What do you guys think? I wanted a subtle lip that didn't take too much away from the OEM front bumper. I'm gonna get it painted in the Spring. I dislike the carbon fiber look if it's just only the lip and nothing else.

Yup, that's the one. I'm gonna do the bondo/sanding and prep work myself. The thing only thing I need done is the paint. It looks like a simple install as well..

I saw that on ebay to, but didnt like that open space between the lip and bumper, are you going to put some mesh behind it? Or what do you think?

Cant wait to see good pics on your car!

Good point, i never thought about that. But after thinking about it, I think I want a little bit of wind to be able to go though so as not to create such a down force preasure on the lip since it is screwed down at the bottom.

I can't wait for this lip to come, I like this lip and I never notice like someone mentioned that there isn't any Z on this forum with this lip. I don't know if that is a good sign or a bad sign

Thanks for the warning. I think the car in the picture with the lip on was already lowered by a lot hence the lip looks very low.

If I would have went with the other two lip that I had narrowed down, they would have been even lower then this lip.

And when I do lower the car, it's only going to using the Hotchkis springs that gives a front 9/16" drop and a Rear 3/4" drop.

I got it used for $122.

No, I believe this is a pretty rare piece. When I saw this on ebay, I searched around the net for a central 20 CF lip, and I didn't find any results that had the exact lip. Very strange.

I wasn't out to find a CF lip, just happens that I liked the lip so much, I didn't care if it was CF or not. But by looking at the lip and the way it is mount, you can sorta see why it should be a hard material like CF.

EDIT: I would love to see more pictures of this lip if anyone has seen it around. Thanks.

Anyone know where I can get a carbon overlay that fits over the center part of the lower bumper, I seen em on Z's before, I think it looks very clean on a stock bumper, Thanks.

wow...if I don't have the Cwest kit, I might just jump on that too. That looks amazing. Reminds me of the R34 GTR's with the little CF underneath the front bumper.

Excellent taste. Subtle, yet different.
