The OEM ballast are they Halls or pHil?

Just to let you guys know.. for those with HID 03-05 and not happy with the amount of light output. i am looking into a stock replacement that will increase output by 30-40%. Will show pictures once i get everything in about 2 weeks.

 

what will this stock replacement consist of? just new bulb and ballast? very interested to see this.

 

well for the non-hid oem guys i guess you'll need to get the bulbs too..

for the already OEM hid guys should be just a direct swap of the ballast only. however i have saw a few test showing that switching to a true high watt HID bulb will yield slightly more lumens and more blue hue.. which i don't care for.. bulbs will be more of course..

i have just placed the order.. so no group buy price for me =( .. i'll get the pics up and if you guys are really intersted.. i am sure you guys can get it at a group buy cost.. if the results are good it'll be worth it.. because i've done my research and the cheapest way is to upgrade our lights for more light output is the way i am doing it right now.

i have looked and looked and asked/e-mail companies around the world and found this one site that has what i am looking for at an extremely reasonale price.
