I would buy from Bulletproof again but if I did I would get promised delivery dates/deadline dates and pricing in writing/contractual form and hold them to it.

As far as promised delivery dates on special order parts from Japan go, unfortunately, it is just not realistic. There are far too many variables when sourcing parts from Japan to have guaranteed delivery dates. (on average, most parts take 8-10 weeks to get but there can be issues with customs clearance, japanese holidays, shipping labor strikes, etc.)
On the other hand, we do our best to get every order filled as quickly as possible. We ship containers from Japan once every 2 weeks...faster than any company in the industry i've seen....most other companies ship containers once every 3 month or so. With that said, you would be hard-pressed to find another reputable company in this industry with faster delivery dates from Japan.

Wow, that was a long time ago. BTW, I'm roo. Colin was let go back then because of a few service issues. Rich actually moved to Washington state last year. Either way, I apologize if either of them did not follow through with anything and I can assure you that will not happen again.
As I said before, there are just far too many variables to give guaranteed timelines. We do our best to get product here as quickly as possible but we don't want to make guarantees that not 100% assured....100% assurance is impossible.
The link you posted regarding Amuse is a perfect example of that. For Amuse, we work with Amuse USA but as of recently, Amuse USA has ceased operations and we have been forced to find alternative means of sourcing the product. It is an unpredictable delay that is neither ours nor the customer's fault. ( www.amuseusa.com <--website has been pulled)
Fortunately, we were able to get a little bit of an early warning and we moved the order to our alternative source. (so the delay is not as long as it could have been) The product was recieved at our warehouse in Japan on the 18th of January so my best guess it the product will arrive on the next container which will be here in 2 weeks.
