You can buy all the LEDs + resistors straight from hong kong for about 3$ shipped air. Check Ebay Stores.

The faces your better off just buying a replacement face for the gauges, as SMT leds are a huge biatch., but the dials, buttons, etc are very easy to do.

I did this on my tiburon years ago and it was sweet as hell. Just be warned, 7000mcd LEDs when used everywhere can be really bright compared to stock lol.

Its to bad I dont live in daytona anymore. This is really easy to do if you have done it or things like it before and I have quite a bit of experience in the area.

Cool Epic Mod

I had been planning on doing the same thing, but I had no idea how much would go into it. It looks great tho.

I have a Silver gauge cluster face FOR SALE. It looks just like the stock gauges, except that its silver instead of the stock black. Its the main gauge cluster and 2 of the small gauges (not the multi-purpose gauge). Its still in the mailing package it came in. Its still brand new, never installed, I just found a different set that I wanted after ordering this set...so im just stuck with a spare that I dont need. I bought it from blackcatcustoms.com for $116 im selling them for $100 OBO, ill cover shipping.

my email is casey.mcneely@yahoo.com if your interested. Im not always on here so that would be the best way to contact me.

Just finished up my AC controls. Only one of the center LED's lit up in this pic but they all do light up, just didn't have the functions engaged when I took the pic.

Waiting on my new gauge faces and more of the SMT Blue LED's to arrive. I used up all the ones from the ebay kits doing my door handle controls and the AC controls (learning and burning... lol)

I've got ALL the steps and tools and part numbers needed for the AC controls in a procedure with pics but it's in MS Word. Anyone want it as PDF, PM me.

Also, the PN given for the Lite-On brand LED's is obsolete. I found what appears to be a pretty good replacement but have not yet tested.

New part number is LB T67C-P2R1-35-Z and can be found on digikey.com. I reference this part number in my documentation but again, I've not tested it yet.

Use this. I just got 40 of them from mouser.com and they work perfectly.

LB T67C-P2R1-35-Z $1 each + shipping.

Also, for the blue 3mm LED's, Acree's link will take you to the product page but you cannot buy on line. They are discontinuing selling LED's and are liquidating their current inventory. I was told yesterday they had about 700 left @$0.45 each + $3 shipping via USPS first class mail. Part number is Model 3-B554534. If you contact them, they will send a payment request via Paypal.

Contact sales@lsdiodes.com

I took my cluster apart but only as far as removing the bezel which I painted. I did not get into the guts.

There are 4 bolts accessible from under the steering wheel area that hold the steering wheel cluster in place. Once out, just lift the cluster, unplug the wiring connector and that's that.

I will be posting a full step by step procedure with pics for all aspects, door handles, AC controls, gauges at the top of the center console and the steering wheel cluster this weekend. The procedure will include which LED's have to be replaced on all the boards.

PM me your email address for a copy of the procedure (with pics) in PDF and as soon as it's done, I will email it to you.

Here's a link for alot of how to's on the interior https://my350z.com/forum/audio-and-v...z-how-tos.html

The guy on ebay offers a kit with green LEDs. Covers only the center console and steering wheel gauges. I've only seen pics of red, blue and white. I don't see why green would not work.

I'll try to get some. I'm working an AC controller where the guy wants blue for the middle push button activated LEDs and white for the rest. I think he has pics of the rest of the car as he only needed the AC controller done.
