Carbon Fiber Hood & Crawford Intake rub?
I've asked before and say about 75% say yes and the othe 25% say there shouldn't be a problem. I would guess that there is a good chance it will rub or could possibly not fit. But hey, go for it and let me know. I've been wanting a hood but refuse to lose my crawford plenum for it. Afterall it'll probably be heavier, fitment won't be as good and i don't want to use hood pins which would be bad in the event of a front end collision. I don't really feel like having my head cut off lol.
So far I was told the the VIS RE and the Fusion hoods rub a little but do fit. I guess you can either use some foam or do a little trimming. One thing I thought Jason over at performance said a while back was that he drove with his fusion hood not closed all the way once. Never popped up on him.
I have the Seibon hood with an ARC strut bar and a Kinetix plenum and I have had to hack that hood apart just to make it work. But I am close and I plan on completely fixing that hood this year so it fits and looks finished.

I have the VIS CF hood. The hood won't close with the cover (that closes the intake holes) on. Was fighting with my Kiinetix V4 plenum, now I have the SSV and I still can't use the cover because of the stock strut bar.
