I was wondering where to buy the double sided tape for installing body pieces. Can this be picked up at autozone or is it a special order type thing? I need some for my v1 lip. Thanks.

 

I attached my V1 with some double stick tape I picked up at Kragen (Checkers/Schucks).

Don't use the white interior 3M mounting tape (the stuff that is thin foam-like strips). You need the heavier molding tape for exterior. The stuff I used was black but honestly I don't remember the manufacturer.

Home Depot, Lowes or a body-shop supplier are good options. You can get the Grey tape at Home Depot and Lowes, but the black tape is what you need idealy if you're using it for a kit. That can be attained at the body-shop supplier.

 

i used the 3m grey exterior mounting tape for my v1 lip. it is a little thick, but it works fine. i got it from home depot, its like $3 for a roll.
