Okay here’s an idea of mine I am thinking of lighting up my Z a little. My idea is to install LED’s inside the vents of my GReddy side skirts and also under my hood to accent the vents on the Scoote hood I am going to have installed. Has anyone done an under hood install yet? I found a great place for LEDs that are pre wired with the resistors so al you have to do is install a switch and ground them and BAM! you have lights. The LEDs in the site are designed for motorcycle use so they are water proof, heat resistant and can take shock from vibrations so no worries on exterior applications. The site is http://www.boogey.com/led.htm take a look they are also pretty reasonable.
My car goes in for body work on the 20th of Feb. at Frederick Nissan located in Frederick MD. If ANYONE is near and would like come custom work done to their cars these guys are top notch and have had some of their project cars on the covers of tuner magazines. Some of their cars include Skylines, 240SX conversions, 350’s and of course the ever popular civics. I will be the first to say they do some killer work. They can be reached at 301-622-0111 and ask for Arthur Williams in the body shop.
I will be posting pics as soon as I get it out of the shop as well as some of their other creations.
