Default WTB = Veilside V2 hood

It's late here in MI, so I can't call around to any shops to find out, but does anyone know where I can get a veilside V2 hood quick - meaning to my house within a week. The Autorama car show is at Cobo Hall in Detroit the 1st weekend in March and I would like to have the hood painted and on the Z by then. Hopefully, a vendor on here has one in stock or someone is interested in parting ways with theirs? Thanks in advance.

big possibility that vendors might not have it in stock(maybe). How about teh VS SEIBON CF hood and just paint it?

Seibon has the same design as Velside and fitment is much better. Call Darren at Intensepower.com as they stock Seibon hood.

Yancy, I see your adding more to the ride. I think I may upgrade my SC this summer to a Stage 3. I agree with the replies, I think the Veilside will not fit as well. My Veilside CF lip did not fit very good.

Actually, the v2 doesn't have the middle scoop and vent that the Seibon does. I personally dislike the middle cutouts because they don't really serve a purpose.

Be warned though, I have the v2 hood and it came in very warped and nasty looking. Unfortunately for me, the so called body man who was doing the work made sure I couldn't return the hood to the vendor. We got it to fit allright, but it was a LOT more work than it should have been, and it will never fit as well as some of the Seibon cf hoods I've seen.

Thanks for the info guys. I wish Seibon made a hood that looked just like the V2 because I don't like the cut out in the center of Seibon's hood. Sorta weird how I've seen a lot of comments about the quality of Veilside's stuff since I've had good luck with Veilside in the past. I have the V1 body kit and everything fit really well. I guess I'll keep looking for something else. Thanks again.
