Default Need opinions please!! V1 or Nismo?

Well I currently have the Veilside V1 CF lip... Ive test fitted it and taken pics but have never installed it because I wanted to wait until I could get both of my bumpers repainted, my wing painted and installed and put my varis duct in.

Lately, however, I have been considering buying one of gruppe-s's urethane nismo front ends and selling the CF V1 lip.... I cant decide what would looks better... If I go nismo I may or may not use the varis duct with it. I think the nismo looks really nice and clean and not added on like the lip kind of does. plus, since i have to get my front bumper repainted and I was planning on shaving the emblem anyway it wouldnt cost me any more to get a different one painted.

Im just looking for opinions on what everyone else thinks looks better... CF V1 lip... or Nismo front bumper... I have ings +1 wing going on and I already have the stillen CF hood and intercooled s/c. Z is DB.

I have had both set ups. First the Nismo bumper and now the V1 Lip. Im happy with the V1 lip now. I would suggest just the lip. But then thats just me. Im a big Veilside fan!

since you already have the v1 lip, i'd just stick with it.

Another suggestion is to cut your grill and show your Stillen Intercooler. It would look something like this:

The V1 really compliments the Intercoller. I love your hood by the way. I was going to go with the Stillen too. I LOVE that S/C whine!

thanks!

The only reason Im considering getting the nismo bumper instead is because i think I would save on labor/paint cost, since I need to get my front emblem shaved as well as some minor damage repaired and then get the whole OEM bumper re-painted. The gruppe-s bumper already has the emblem shaved and wouldnt need any repairs just paint.

Your car looks really nice, I have the LMGTs too. The stillen intercooler does look cool (probably because i think all of them do) but not nearly as nice as yours. (greddy?)

May I ask why you took the nismo bumper off in the first place?

when i repainted my oem bumper (for rock chips), i just asked them to shave the emblem while it was there. there was no additional charge since they had to repaint anyways.

Oh wow, thats really cool, the two shops I've talked to have added on at least an additional hour of labor for removing the emblem, filling, sanding, etc.

If u want to save the hassle, just shave your emblem and repaint it and keep the lip. It will look pretty sweet.
OR
get the nismo lip and put the air duct on. it will look pretty nice with the emble already shaved.
oh yea...then sell me your cf lip

haha^

thanks for the opinions!

I think im going to get a couple more body work estimates and see what the cost difference is to shave and repair my current bumper vs. paint a new one. I think it may be easier to just keep the lip i have though too...

oh dang..I tried.
I just actually had my front bumper repainted and emblem shaved.
Shaved as in molded the emblem part so the front bumper is clean without any indents.
The bumper looks pretty sweet. I paid around 300 for it..
