Ill be back with some more pics shortly, i reinstalled a few parts of my dash, and did a few things.

Im thinking, while im at it to go ahead and remove my blose system and order a new one.

That's awesome. So my car is going to look like that in 3 days? Dang, should be interesting. I'm heading to autozone tomorrow to pick up some kind of weatherstripping or small adhesive foam strips to use in the interior. Hopefully while I'm piecing it back together, I can apply some foam padding to the right parts to prevent rattles.

what is that bose box in the trunk? and why the hell is there a bose box in my steering column! Bose is like a disease.

Gonna autox this weekend, gonna take out the seat and stereo. Im guessing my car will be about 250lb lighter than a stock touring z.

To clarify the 250lb: Ive removed the following:

cats 15lbs
spare tire 40lbs
tools/foam crates 10lbs
entire interior 100lbs
seat(leather heated and electric) 60lb
bose stereo 30lb (speakers, hu and sub)

total is 225lb but i was lowballing some parts.

The entire front dash? its a pita but i bet i could do it in a hr now that ive done it once.

Pm me with which parts you want to remove and ill help to give instructions. Removing the last piece is the worst, but you can get the 4 panels and cupholder out easy and the middle part isnt bad at all.

i think the total weights of the boxes came to over 100lbs, so roughly 90-100lbs of plastic in the interior.

acree has his reinstalled now, hell post pics in a bit. crazy kid pulled an all nighter on it.

ONE! One damn rattle. I'm going to have my girl take a ride with me and see if she can find it. I'll post an update with pics a little bit later tonight or tomorrow.

UPDATE!
Im done with my interior. Didnt get any shots of frost leather and the black, but it was ok looking.

I redid my seats in red and black leather ( a royal pita!!!!!!!!! maybe a 5z DIY) and refinished the strut bar and passenger door handle. Tell me what ya think?

NOT ONE RATTLE either, it went back together well. It feels weird now, i have ac that is directed and much less room inside. Also, an armrest!!!! Cant believe i drove a month without an interior but i love it now. Got a few panels im going to replace, but overall in decent shape.

CUxtopher,

i stripped my interior last week. No problem beside broke my windshield.

How do you disable the passenger airbag? Also, the cover on top of the airbag, how carefull you need to be when to take it out? can i just pop it out as the other side?

When messing with the airbags, disconnect the battery. My suggestion is to never unplug the airbag, just leave it be if possible.

Getting the interior piece off the airbag is a pain. You have to go beneath the dash.
Start by removing the screws that hold the a little white plastic box in. then look up into the dash and youll see some gold nuts on black threads. Take off six 8mm nuts whichll release the interior panel with the airbag assembly. Remove the panel. Then its 6 10mm nuts to take the panel and airbag apart.

Howd you break the windshield?

remember there are few nuts on the driver side? after you take off the techometer, the cover under. i have the wrench and as i turn to open, the edge hit the windshield. Just one hit, cost me $320 to replace new windshield.

BTW, you can take that interior piece out WITHOUT remove the center console?
