True, but there's always a catch. The handbook or "service manual" only display where the location of a few clips and screws go. Most of them are not notated if I recall correctly.

If Nissan has an Illustrated Parts Catalog (IPC) for the 350Z, it may show exactly how many of each but also where all the clips, fasteners, and other miscellaneous hardware attaches to each assembly.

the manual is good for reference but not 100% straightforward how to.

Bump!

Happy Thanksgiving everyone!

Cux350z, I know its been a long time since you performed this work so I understand if you may not remember the exact steps. Any chance you recall what was entailed in removal of the ac vents to the left and right of the center console on the front dash? Do you remember if I have to remove the upper dash panels in order to get to the screws holding the vents in? Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

they are part of the dash panels. You have to remove the dash panel and then unscrew the vent assembly.

see if this pic helps

I may have missed it, but after 17 years from the first post I have to ask, how the heck do you get theinterior A Pillar Garnishes out. Am I supposed to just yank them out? Seems theyre caught under the front corners of the dash but I can’t tell for certain.
