Le Mans Stripes - 350Z
I am thinking about putting 2 silver stripes on my '06 Magnetic Black Z. I own a body shop so I'm not ganna put all that cheesey vinyl ****... I'm ganna paint the ***** and clearcoat it so much that you can fix ur hair in it's reflection. I was thinking, though, of just putting 2 stripes in between the grooves on the hood:
Inner gap will be straight down the hood, outer gaps will be parallel to their respective grooves, with a curved in edges as you approach the grill (to work with the bubble theme of the car.)
What ya'll think?

I was thinking about some sort of stripe today while washing my car. Seems like you could put one big one down the center and follow the groove of the hood. I know I've seen one like it before... don't remember who's. But I think it'd look better if you did a neutral color with black... like a dark grey or something so it's just ghosted. Just my opinion.

It looks good but at the same time looks bad... I don't know. I don't think I'm ganna put it on... I'm ganna stick to the more serious all-black look. I got an '05 Mustang GT that we're ganna supercharge and **** so I'll jus' stick to makin' that the race car and keep this 350z as the serious car. Putting a Stillen CAI and Exhaust on my Z next week! :-)
