Smile New Flex-carbon

After searching and working on this flexible carbon fiber stick on. We finally come out with this first proto type. It is very strechable. I have seem many carbon sheet on the market, claiming it is strechable. After I bough it an dfound out it is not at all (saw it at SEMA show) So here is what we have...

Next I'll try to put some clear coat on it and see how it looks.

Nice. How much does it cost and what dimensions of a sheet can you get it in?

Any pics of the backside? That doesn't look like real carbon. It looks like the "carbon fiber" vinyl.

quick note to everyone. This material is not real carbon fiber, but looks very close to it.

if it's that flexible, isn't it easy to crack with clear coat?

door panel? I can wrap my whole car

Naa... I think a product like this would be good for someone who's got other real CF parts and needs to match up a few little parts here and there. I think if this were used for main panels it'd look kinda cheezy.

so you have to hot-glue it on the backside in order for it to stay put?
