More like oranges to grapefruits, they are both stability control systems. VDC you can disable with a push of a button btw.

You cant disengage the VDC completely with the button? I beg to differ. I can turn mine off and and i can do donuts all day long and fishtail changing gears and drift around corners and nothing kicks in.

I bought a base because I did not want TCS.

I found this thread because I want to use a TCS switch to manually control my fans.

The switch has four pins and I can't find the diagram for the pinout. I don't have the switch yet and if it comes to it I'll trial and error it but was hoping to know before I get it. FWIW, I spent 45 minutes wading through the service manual just finding TCS is under BRC.

There are over a dozen pages of diagrams. I just spent the 10 minutes since you posted that and did not find it. Thanks.

It's from the diagram BRC-TCS-02. The second of the TCS section diagrams right after the TCS schematic that shows the overall wiring.

I bet if I added whatever modules are missing with my flash that gave me cruise I could have TCS & VDC but I bought the base to not have them or leather or whatever else I was missing before I added the quaife, homelink and cruise so I now have exactly what I wanted.

I just want to use the oem switch for my fans.

Just looked, wire harness is there so all I have to do is splice power and ground for the fans and I get an illuminated switch for my fans.
