I dont think it looks as good with it shaved. However, what bout if you just left the outer portion of the handle that silver color but had the actual handle part painted the same as the car. That way there is still some contrast. Your car looks awesome the way it is, I could only see the need for brakes on that thing.

I'm curious as to why shaved door handles would be illegal in New Jersey. Is is for safety concerns?

Probably because fire and rescue would not be able to get you out of the car in an accident....

Guess ill cave in and go with a stop-tech setup, what color do you think the caliber should be? red, black or blue?

Was thinking red but thought that might clash with the orange seats, so maybe black?

Ya the shaved handles reminds of when my GF first shaved herself down below, at first it look weird but then it grew on me

Shave the handles, i think it looks a lot smoother. Especially on a roadster.

They normally put an additional backup battery in the rear of the car (motorcycle battery underneath the rear bumper). Here's a couple of actual pictures of Spydr's car with everything shaved. He has since sold it.

I dont know if it would be a problem on the Z since it is a higher quality car but when I had the door handles shaved on my cavalier the doors eventually started to bend due to the weight of the doors since a solinoid pops the doors open. Just something to consider.

What about a KYO silver paint for the calipers, like on the Z-tune Skyline.
