I'm almost done fitting it and the fit is pretty good, then i will get it painted. It came with a mesh screen and that is pretty good quality too.

But now I barely scrape when i go up and down my drive way.

Looks great. I went the same route, also scraping a little in the driveway. I would be selective on the body shop that does the work. The first shop that tried painting my bumper was not successful.

so what did you do with the undertray? i heard the 06s won't fit right or something. i have mine coming in a few weeks.

 

I couldn't imagine any reason it wouldn't have fit

The undertray is about inch or so too short in height. I got mine from kurumaz.com and mine came with spacers and bolts to fit the gap.

I'm taking it in to get it painted tomorrow. The shop i'm taking it to has been in business for 30 plus years and they guarantee their work.

 

Is that the Aerosync bumper?

I think I'll just wait until the Nismo lip comes out for the 06

How was the fit where the hood meets the bumper? I ask because I have one of the very first batch from way back last June, and it fits like crap the hood will not close and the bumper does not line up with the hood. like the holes were drilled about 3/8 of an inch to far to the front pulling the bumper in toward the hood. Also the area around the headlights is a bit whacked. They are telling me that this is how they all fit, but are offering me a new one if I pay to send mine back

I think it would be cheaper if you got a new bumper from performance nissan. The last time i shipped a bumper it was over $100 to ship yellow freight. And I have already thrown away the big box the nismo bumper came in.

 

I know how you feel, I was going to wait for it too.

But I got a feeling that Nismo will not have a lip for the 06+ front bumper.
Especially when there's a version 2 full bumper.

So I am planning on going with INGs LX front lip instead. Really tired of waiting for the Nismo lip. If there will ever be one.
