It depends on what the offset of the wheel is.

Also, I think most 20" wheels on Zs are running a 30 profile tire, which will make your rolling circumference (and radius to the tire edge) larger than an OEM 18" Rays wheel, whereas a 19" wheel with a 245/75 front and 275/35 rear are actually a slightly smaller radius than a the OEM track-model wheel (i.e. the lower profile tire actually more than makes up for the 1/2 inch increase in wheel radius.)

I don't want to give any bogus advice on what would work and what wouldn't. I'd call one of the wheel/tire sponsors of the board and let them answer that question.

Like Kelly said, that depends on the offsetof the wheels. With all those mods, you will definitely rub with a wide tire/aggresssive offset. I have 285s in the back, with spacers on my wheels that puts them at the equivalent offset of +19 10.5" volks. I also have adjustible rear camber (at -.8 deg), which actually makes rubbing even MORE of an issue.

Ok so rolling fenders helps out when you run too agressive of an offset or too agressive in terms of tire sizing

....

That is after the roll before the roll don't even think about driving it like that =)

Now THAT is slammed...do you rub under hard cornering when the suspension is compressed?

That's sick. I'll be doing some pretty extreme stuff myself too, hopefully by this weekend.

Pretty much what has already been said--roll them to fit extreme offsets or extreme tire sizes

Does any one know if I can fit some Volks 19x8.5 +29 and 19x9.5 +34 on my Z? Found them for a good price, but I am concerned about the offset.

My offsets are +15 and +20 on the same width/diameter wheels. I'm REALLY close to rubbing, but I don't. I think you'd have issues with those since there basically another 1.5mm out in the front and rear.

I rolled my 510's fenders with a baseball bat. It was nothing and took about 5 min to do it. And that was back in '88 or '89. Granted, it was only a 510.

I rolled my fenders my self the key is patience when heating up the rolling surface, either with a hair dryer or heat gun. if you do use a heat gun keep it on low because you could bubble/boil your paint!
i used www.rollyourfender.com great guy and for $50 roll all of your fenders
now i have 295 30 19 on the rears with no rubbing what so ever!
