Default ATTN: People with Shine Auto Project body kits

If you purchased a kit from Shine Auto Project, either the Vertex-type, Amuse-type or the new Central20-type, can you chime in as to how the fitment is on the car?

From what I have seen and heard, fitment is A+, but I would like to get comments from the actual owners so that people have a better idea about the kits they make and not just take the word of a friend's friend's friend that told them it fits good.

Please post the kit you purchased, and comment on fitment quality.

Thanks in advance.

I saw his Shine Amuse front bumper this weekend, fitment looked excellent.
He has the DB on Shine's website.

I have the Amuse kit. Fitment was excellent. I've had it on my car for 2 months now and have developed a few cracks under the headlights. At first glance, it may be that the paint does not having enough flex in it. Should know more later this week. It's the only places that showing any kind of stress. Other than body shop issue's so far, Its been great.

Hang on!! The bumper is flexing more than your paint under normal driving conditions?? Surely the bumper shouldn't be flexing that much? Could it not be that your bodyshop did a nasty paint job? Just curious, not trying to be ****!

Absolutely, thats why I mentioned the issue's with the body shop. I personally think that there isn't enough flex agent in the paint they used on the bumper. Thats my own personal opinion, but seeing that I have limited knowledge on autobody, I can't tell you what it really is.

Alex perhaps youve done this, but would it be possible to ask your body shop there in SJ what kind of ppg paint they are using on these kits that are matching so well.

Ask them if its PPG's Deltron line, the DBU.

regards,

b

that's awesome to hear you guys have nothing but good things to say about Shine Auto Project.
Hopefully this helps for the people who are doubting their quality.

Let me add that even though I have had some paint issue's on my Amuse, Ken has been extremely helpful throughout this whole thing. He always promptly e-mails me back. I still only have good things to say about him and there products and I'd buy it again in a heart beat.

I like you so please don't take this the wrong way, but I'm just a little confused. You backed out of the GB (group buy), so it was left up to the five of us to front the money for the Central 20 pieces to be purchased. Now it appears that you are going to be the first to receive the kit? Help me understand the logic behind this. Thanks.
