I might end up divorced if I set my sights on a 3600 dollar mod, but I'll be pretty damn cool driving away.

But Im down with this 100% I've already started to work the wife over

I'm pretty sure that they would rather do the installation themselves however they will include full instructions but you can call Iron Man Customs at 973 492 1134 and ask for Jay for further information. This is foreal and I was trying to keep it a secret and suprise everyone at the Dulles HIN show but since my car isn't going to make that show then it doesn't matter. My car is the prototype car and will be the first to have the Targa Top installed. This is foreal and yes I meant a %50 deposit. You can go through Iron Man Customs for the deposit and discounted price. I would recommend calling Jay with any questions you may have. I can't wait to see my car with this done. I think any Z will look amazing with a Targa top but the widebody will jsut amke it that much more radical. The mustangs that they had at the shop with no other body mods looked a lot better with the Targa so I can only imagine the Z (we all know the Z is much sexier) with one. BTW They have Interest Free Financing for 1 year available at Iron Man Customs so you won't have to go through a divorce or anything lol.

$3600? What happened to the $2700 price that was mentioned initially? That is very steep for a mod?

Does AAM actually do the modification or is it Iron Man?

What does the kit alone cost or is this even a possibility?

Need more info. I love the pictures of the silver Z with the photochopped targa! That is fukin awesome.

Targa Z33 =

Almost tempted to buy a kit (if its less then insane $3600 un-installed) and if i can find some really good local bodyshop to fit it for me... Though a bodyshop would charge alot installing + possible needed paint etc... TOOOO MUCH $$$$$ but dammit i want it!!

^^perfectly said.

I want the Targa real bad too. I really don't want to be the "1st, 2nd, 3rd. etc... to have it. I want to wait and see how it all turns out. For that starting kit price and project, any mistake will cost tons of money to fix.

I am also curious for the owner of the first prototype to come back to us after some test drive to see what the wind dynamics is like with the targo top... I don't want our rear hatch area to act like a wind collector O.o

The shop is in Northern NJ. I trust their capabilities and have seen what they can do so I am not sweating it. The kit is about $2600 then about $1000 labor (from Iron Man and only if you pre-order) and AAM will be a distibutor in the future I believe and may be taking orders although I am not positive on their involvement at the moment. Once I went ahead with the Targa top I decided against going with the Lambo Orange for the Paul Walker/Supra reason lol.

yeah deffinitely... this isn't on of those mods you can just un-bolt and go back to stock. You will seriously fu*king up your car if the installer screws up
