Targa Top Pre-Orders Now being taken
That is the company and the owner is Jay. You can call and ask about Altered Atmosphere's involvement or call Noah at AAM. Like I said before the roof should be able to fit in the hatch. Mine might be different but they will take pictures of how the production version so that you will be able to see what it will look like how/where it fits etc. I definately recommend calling and placing pre-orders because if you want it done in time for summer now is the time to get the ball rolling. $3600 installed and if you live in California about $5000 shipped across country is an excellent deal since it still is cheaper than a ZR but better looking with the roof on IMO.
Am I the only one that thinks that new mustag with the targa top on that website doesn't look that great? Maybe the mustag or mustag all-together does not look good with a targa top. Or maybe it's because they didn't cut the piller frames all the way to the back but left like an inch hanging in the back.
I hope they don't leave an inch of the piller frame at the back of the 350Z, it will ruin the look IMO.

And if this is the company doing it for you...I'm sure that they would sell direct...I've talked to the owner on a couple different occasions

no manufacturer would limit all their sales to go through just one installer. it would limit a ton of business for them. the parts to do the swap would most likely be in the $500-$1000 range. it is mostly a labor job.
either way i have been thinking of doing this to my car and adding a full cage to resupport the body. hopefully they would entertain having someone on the west coast to install also, like me, lol. i just don't see how the top will fit in the hatch though, i'll have to do some measuring.

the 350 wouldn't ahve that inch or inch and a half lip or whatever you want to call it in the rear. It will look like the photoshoped Z in the other thread with about an inch to an inch and a half lip or whatever in the front.
I called AAM today and tried to get ahold of Noah about the Pre-Orders. I left my contact info and if I dont hear anything in the next day or two, I'll follow up.
Anyone else have more info? Like estimated time to finish the kit, pre-orders on schedule?

I would actually suggest calling Iron Man Customs. I posted their # before but here it is again 973 492 1134 so you don't have to you don't have to look through 4 pages. Just ask for Jay and he will be able to tell you more than anyone else.
ya, was looking at my car today. no way in hell is the top gunna go in the back unless it is in 2 pieces. then i still don't even think it has a chance.
unless you could hook it on the trunk lid. maybe that is what the guy with the pic of the mustang did, hahahha. that wing is pretty bad.
