He's talking about the back lip above the b pillars thats what doesnt look right. And as for the 2nd pics of the red stang. I gotta say that doesnt look good at ALL. The connecting holes kind of look cheap too. Starting to question this now after being so excited =[

not feeling it with the G as much as the Z, but once again the cut would have to be made straight with the 1/4 windows to look right, like the photo chop

 

Doesn't the G35c come standard with a moon/sun roof? You would definately have to get the carbon fiber option if there was a targa kit for it.

But I agree with the above poster that the G doesn't look right with a targa top. But then again, maybe it isn't fair since it is a different angle photochop then the 350Z photochop.

Also: It might look a little wierd with the targa on the G35c because of the backseats. Specially if you have people in the backseat...

why don't nissan added a Targa model to the Z line up??? ( I got a feeling they will )

 

The mustang just does not have the lines for a targa setup to look nice, at least not to me. The roofline for the mustang and the G35c is made to let 2 people sit in the backseat.

We'll just have to wait and see what a 350Z with it's sexy curves will look like. Which brings up another point... I think the car to have the first targa top is a mastergrade widebody 350Z... so don't expect pictures of a normal 350Z with a targa top.

Has anyone considered how much weight the sub frame is going to add? Turbo'd Z with an anchor , that makes since.

 

I dont think that the crowd that is die hard about tracking their car will go for this targa top. And, if you are F/I'd, a few more lbs will probably not really hurt anyway!

Supra had a back seat...and it looked good with the targa.

 

Looks-wise, I never liked the Supra. So, I guess it depends on the person. I just find the mustang and G35c roofline at the back too high to make a good targa top car. Also, the Supra is a much lower profile car then the mustang or G35c, so I wouldn't compare the same lines of the supra to the G35c or mustang. Hell, when I drove my 350Z passed a supra the other day, the supra was much lower then the 350Z.
