Default I joined the no-rear-wiper club today *56k beware*

I love when I see 350Z's that have smooth lines. I think it makes our car more sexy and shophisticated. So I knew I had to take of the rear wiper to achieve the ongoing look that I want for the Z. Pictures were taken with a 7 year old camera so excuse the quality.

On a difficulty scale of 10, this mod is rated a 1 by me. Could have taken me less then 30 minutes if I didn't have to chat with a neighbour.

I knew I wanted to do this mod so I madee sure I got the body shop to paint a facaut stopper when they were painting my lip. I suggest others remember to do this if they ever get anything painted. This way if you ever decide to do this mod, you have a painted stopper already done.

And yes, I know I need new rims

You can use a $0.57 smooth plastic stopper from any auto store and paint it with Nissan touch-up. Five minute project that is well worth it.

Thanks for the comments, guys!

I went to home depot, went to the plumping section, and asked for a faucet stopper. And lucky for you, I was neurotic enough to save the wrapper. It's from the company "LDR", it's labelled as "Faucet hole cover".

There is a couple of serial numbers:

The one under the bar code is: 0 19442 12522 6
The other one is: 501 B6415WT

Good luck!

You can also use a bolt cover off of the front plastic radiator shield. Open the hood, there are 2 one on each side, pop it off and clip the tabs, paint to match. My car is black so I got to skip the painting. Takes about 30-45 minutes total minutes.

Looks good, Welcome to the club! Now smear some Rain-X on there and you'll never miss the wiper.

Yes, see post #7. I had to trim the tabs down a little on the back but it snapped right in. It's a little lower profile than the sink cover and if your car is black you might not even have to paint it. I am having mine painted silverstone and will post some pics when I get it back.

The only other option is have a body shop fill it in and repaint the hatch which will be $$$.

So is there any type of "faucet stopper" that is flush...aka isn't "above" the hatch but is flush in height with the hatch?

Looking to do this like tomorrow.
