Attnn: Base owners
Has anybody replaced their pedals with the stock nissan 350z aluminum pedals yet?
Nissan told me there is no guaranty the stock covers will work for the base.
I dont want to waste my money and would like to know if someone has done it sucessfully. Thanks.

I am getting mine from courtesy parts.com for $167, plus shipping.
LOWUFO, can you run us through the install, how long did it take, tools, ect.
It looks like the gas pedal will be the hardest.
LOWUFO, what did you pay for yours?
Another stupid ? , Do the pedals feel differently, ect than the rubber pedals?
Did you gain HP?

I hope they come out with a cruise control option also. I would be interested. I understand you would need a new steering wheel
Anyone else interested in cruise?

I didn't read anywhere on a forum, I found it out myself, going like 120 on alligator alley trying to cruise and I thought my cruise control was broken or something until I slowed down to 90 and it finally engaged =\

DAMNNN, I MISS the alley... 75 to Miami!!!
Family lives on Sanibel, I'd shoot to South Beach for the day. Come back late... like 1 - 2am and just rocket along.
First time I hit 140 in my `88 Prelude Si... back in the day.
lol, i was doin 150 on I 95 yesterday at liek 3 am, but had to slow to 80 cuz they're were cops all over the place (camaro cops on the shoulder w/regs pullin every1 over) and I ended up behind an unmarked cop for about 45 mins =\

according to www.courtesyparts.com , i can't just put the accel pedal cover on, i have to buy the whole accelerator thing. Is this true, or did you just put the accel cover on top of your accelerator?
You said you bought them for your Z at strictlyZ.com.
They only sell the ones for the G35.
Did they work ont he Z?
Why are the ones for the Z, $100.00 more at courtesyparts.com

350Z Aluminum Gas Pedal Assembly $135.39
Factory replacement aluminum gas pedal assembly for the Enthusiast, Performance, Touring and Track model 350Z. This assembly can be used to replace the black rubber accelerator pedal assembly on the base model 350Z.
and
350Z Replacement Aluminum Gas Pedal $26.34
Factory replacement aluminum accelerator pedal for the Enthusiast, Performance, Touring and Track model 350Z. Note: work NOT fit the base model 350Z with out bushings and clip, which are currently on back-order from Nissan and will not be available for the unforeseen future.
So i'm guessing the people with the base model have to buy the whole accelerator assembly ($135) and then buy the covers for the brake/clutch/dead pedal, unless we get the bushings and clips but those are on backorder
I know what courtesy parts says, but they want $167 for everything plus shipping.
LOW said he bought them at strictlyz.com. But thats for the G35.
Strictly wants only $100, my ? is does the G35 fit the Z?
