carbon fiber clear coat problem

Default carbon fiber clear coat problem

has anyone had any issues with there carbon fiber clear coat comming off and haveing a white bubble like residue or faded look to the parts, i was at a car show to day in englishtown and it seemed 20% of the carbon fiber parts had the clear comming off and a werid whitish film, 350z stock evos ect... all kinds of cars ?

fading is the problem of all CF part.

carbon usually does not have a clear coat on it actually

So lets say someone were to buy a wing from evo-r or Nissan that has the carbon fiber insert. Would it have to be clear coated?

Evo-R you would have to ask them

Nissan one is not coated, though you can easily have a body shop do it

yeah i know alot of the performance shops around here tell you to do at least 3 to 8 coats of clear on your carbon fiber parts
