Need your advice.

I’m on standby to get a complete color change on my 05 350z.

I ‘m putting on Initial-D kit and my plans are to go with this color scheme:

Front lip ( bottom of the bumper), bottom of side skirts, and rear bumper around the exhaust - Black, just like on the Ings+1 car

The body will match my Gunmetal LE37T - Will almost look like Nissan’s Siverstone

And the Top will be Black to accommodate future CF ( or not )



All opinions and suggestions are very much appreciated.

 

2 tones? Please don't.

 

Ok, how about just doing the bottom parts in black? Once again just like the white ings car.

Why hate on 2 tone? Tac-M, go for it if you like it.

 

My personal preference is to have one base color covering as much of the car as possible and then accent with 1 or 2 other colors/materials what goes as a theme accors the whole exterior/interior.

My theme will be redline with alu and CF accents (clean and proven )

If i where to choose a new color that should be unique and cool, maybe some sharper and darkish orange would be cool and unique for the Z with the right wheels and mods to go with it ofcourse.

I'm in the same boat, I'm stuck between two colors sets now:

1. Nebula Yellow Pearl with an Indigo Blue Pearl lip kit (custom paint to match the limited edition Harley that I got my dad for Fathers Day in 04 that he sticks in shows with me)

or

2. Kandy Blue

 

There was a chrome silver and black 2-tone somewhere here that was nice, but it's the only one I've seen that I liked.

 

there was also a lemans and black 2 tone that looked great.

 

Thanks guys, I decided to stay with the oem KYO ( liquid aluminum ) color, and just do the bottom pieces with black accents i.e. the lip, lower part of side skirts and the area around the exhaust, I feel that it will look more classy this way. I’m not building a show car, so I don’t want flashy colors and tons of useless cf . Attached is the pic of my car now. As soon as I’m done I’ll post the new pix.
