Default What do you guys think? CF or painted?

The next thing to go on my car will be a different body kit. The Nismo replica I have now is s**ty and the paint job is terrible. I am strongly leaning towards a C-West N1 kit and am debating on getting carbon fiber or just get a regular one and paint it to match the car. I am looking for a functional body kit as my car sees mostly track time. I have the CF hood and hatch already, but don't know if the body kit would be too much CF. The reality is, the prices would be the same after a good paint job so either way is ok with me. These are the best pics I have of the car with the CF hatch on....

Yeah. I also did a quick photoshop of my car with CF Hood, Hatch, Front bumper, rear bumper, side skirts, doors, and mirrors and its a little too much lol. The only things left silver are the front/rear fenders and the roof lol. I think I am going to go authentic and paint it silver. Maybe CF and then paint, but leave some of it CF, but thats expensive for a crappy replica piece.

^^

if u have a full roll cage, cut the roof off and put in a CF one. buy some CF fenders, and the only thing left.. is the rear quarter panels! heheeh

for track car? who cares what it looks like.. be cheaper to leave it all CF anyways...

Now we are getting in over our heads lol. I care what it looks like to a certain extent. If I didn't care at all what it looked like then I would go the cheapest route, which is un-painted replica stuff .

According to the polls, I should keep the Nismo kit. Didn't expect that one lol.

cheapest is when you roll with no kit.

Toss the Nismo. Get a kit that will be painted (track use will tear up the unfixable CF) Try the amuse from shine or another knock off with some quality. I am considering the Version Select when the $$$ starts to get better on my end.
