Default Daytona wing on my '06 redline **pics**

Even though it's not attached yet, at least ya can get an idea of what it looks like.

I love the way it looks from behind, makes the car look wider and agressive but the pics don't capture it that well.

Anyway....

I know what you mean.

When I saw it on the DB in the ad, I liked the side angle and didn't like the rear view that much. In person it was just the opposite, I like the rear on my redline and not the side so much. I think the reason why I didn't like the rear view on the DB, was because of the tail lights on the DB. On a redline, they blend in. I never cared for the Z's taillights all that much. Got this rounded car with taillights that look like pyramids

I looked at dozens of different spoilers and thought for sure I was going to go with the Veilside V-1 wing, until I saw pics of it on a redline and I didn't like how it was squarish looking and the car is kinda rounded looking.

Then I saw the Daytona. If I was going to do it all over again, I would have passed on getting any wing at all, spent a few hundred more and just got my Nismo exhaust sooner

I wish I had lots of free time and some modeling clay. It would be fun to design my own.

But since I bought it and it's painted and everything, I may as well put it on.

In some ways I like it more than having no spoiler and in some ways I like it without one, so they kind of eqal each other out.

Chad68, looks like we are both gonna have the same wing. It looks exactly the way I thought it would, great. I picked one up when I was down at the motorsports event. It's here now, I just have to get it painted PPW and mount it up. I have been looking at this part for well over a year and nobody here had it, now it looks like two people in the bay area will.

Do you have it bolted down, taped or just sitting on there?

Chris

I bolted it on Sunday

I'm only using the 2 end bolts for right now but I will probably drill out the other 2 this weekend. It's solid as a rock just with the two and the fit is pretty damn good, better than i thought it would turn out. Also gonna yank off the rear wiper too.

The 2 end holes are easy to drill and bolt up because it does line up with the factory access holes but the other 2 mounting holes don't match up to any access holes but it should all tuck in behind the interior panel nice and neat with room to spare.

Not bad.

I was expecting to see a blue wing on your car though. False advertising!

I havebeen looking at the Daytona and Lemans wing. I feel exactly thesame you do. That is why I still don't have a spoiler installed. I like the Z's line "au natural" but can't help wondering if there is a spoiler out there that would really make my Z look sharp. Oh well...the search cotinues!!

our cars come with zero lift aero dynamics, this defeats the purpose of that... but then again i do have heavy 19s and such... enjoy the mod it does look nice in certain angles.

Just recieved the Le Mans wing from Zstore and it is made very well and comes with good instructions. I have it at the body shop getting painted. It does not have as much of a duck tail as the daytona wing it appears more sleek.
