yes mine did cover. i test fitted it as soon as i got it. it lines up perfect with the outside holes. im not sure mine is the same brand as the one from mynismo.com but it looks extremely similar just not CF.

Why aren't the tips resting on the hatch like they should be with JDM style? That doesn't look right.

I bought mine from them and had them install it.. Be prepared for a lot of prep work (read $$s). The finish varies greatly (according to performance themselves). Other than that, its fine.
