We could always kiss and make up Bubble. I'm only about 2 hours from San Jose, I should be up there eventually if you wanted to see the LSD kit on our Roadster or if you have any future plans to be in the San Luis/Santa Maria area I could meet up with you.
We recently did some updates to our website and added some more pics of the LSD Kit here if you want to check that out:

Cool.
Price for LSD Doors on our website is $1889.00 shipped.
Pros and Cons between LSD & VDI are significant. I installed a VDI kit on our car first to get a good comparison. The VDI kit is really a just for show mod, they're good for getting your doors vertical and that's about it. Even when the door is vertical with them though it sways and our door panel was hitting the a-pillar and messed it up some. They are a huge PIA to close and overall are not a mod that is easy to live with. We won't even sell them.
LSD on the other hand is superior in every aspect except price. They are crash tested, have lifetime hinge warranty and have the Magic Stick which supports the door when it is brought down from vertical allowing it to pivot on two points so it closes with ease.
Any more questions please ask, if you want to see them in person let me know and we can try to set something up.
Thanks,
Gary

i'm not worry about the door panel issue since i installed the GT Factory CF panel already. What is the lbs rate on the shock on LSD kit?

I'm not sure about the lbs rating on the shock, it's not printed on the shock or the instructions. I'll call LSD tomorrow when they open and ask for you. I will say, what ever the rating is should have some variance as they are a little stronger when it is warmer out. It lifts ours pretty easy (stock speakers) for about a year now and as long as any added weight from speakers is in the stock location towards the lower front door panel you should be fine. If the shocks were not strong enough to work for added weight I would just swap them out for some stronger ones no charge.
Thanks,
Gary
Oh, I copied this from www.lsd-doors.com, which gives some more info too:
Important footnote for the gas springs:
- the gas spring was balanced due to the weight of a original door without any additional accessories. If there is a difference in the weight of the door you may need to purchase a stronger or weaker gas spring at additional costs.
- Please note, that the gas power of the gas springs may vary due to temperature variation, this may alter the force required to open and close the door. These variations are normal and due to the nature of gas springs and should not be considered as a defect.
Thanks,
Gary

Weight rating on the 350Z kit shock is about 620 lbs of force. They have many other weight rated shocks available if needed but the ones that come standard should be fine.
Thanks,
Gary

Here's a link to an article on LSD Doors, where we receive mention, in the new July issue of Car and Driver.
