That's a bunch of crap. Go back to the dealer. My 03 G35c rattles like an 89 Camaro, and they still fix all the rattles and squeaks for free *until this Jan when the bumper to bumper expires*

I thought there was a squeek coming from my seat, come to find out it was my @ss from too much Taco Bell. Seriously I took my 04 in for a click that comes from tuning hard and the seat will kind of click side to side. They said the TSB that was out was for 03's.....hmmmmm....so mine couldn't be clicking. GOOD TO KNOW!

make sure the sqeak isn't coming from outside the car...mine squeaked when sitting down and getting out, it was the left rear axle and they did the TSB for the clicking alxe and it solved this problem also.
you can also go the route i am going now...get Sparcos and call it a day!

This technical bulletin describes a problem with the fist year/s. When I referenced it to the dealer, they told me this doesn't apply to later models (apparently this bulletin is for 2003s). Therefore I got no resolution. Let me know if you figure out what to do.

IF YOU CONFIRM: When tuning left or right, · The driver's seat makes a "click" noise, and/or · The driver's seat moves side to side (left or right), ACTION: · Install special washers between the seat thigh support adjuster and the sliding and reclining device-inner and outer (see Figure 1). See this bulletin for further detail.

Hi,

Anyone has the actual TSB that detail the fix with pictures and procedure? My seat is clicking when I do hard left or right turn.

Usually it's pdf file.

Thanks in advance.

Try this - remove the seat from the car and flip it over. Make sure the 4 bolts that hold the bottom to the metal base frame are tight. Mine were loose and once I tightened them, my squeek and clunk stopped.

This may or may not be related. But I had a squeak in my car and for the hell of me I couldn't figure it out. Eventually I did. It turned out to be the sub. Nissan put the sub in the sub enclosure without any type of spacer or something to prevent the metal of the enclosure rubbing the metal on the sub.

So I put a gasket thingy in myself and the noise has never come back.

It always sounded like a squeaky seat, but it turned out not to be. Just something for you guys to check out.

My seat squeeked and even moved a bit, i just went underneath and tightened the bolts holding it down in the front and that about fixed it completely, washers might work well also.
