Ok, so the only part of the Z that boters me is the front end...it looks too unfinished, and unsubstantial compared to the rest of the car. BUT, I'm not looking for a complete redesign of the front end...something subtle enough to almost go unnoticed, but provides that extra "poke" and weight to the front. So I photoshoed this up quickly...what do you think of the Veilside front lip. Sure it costs $400, and it will hang slightly lower than the sides, but I want to know what you think...(cost not an object) would you go for it?

 

Veilside front lip is nice. Go for it! I also like this one...

 

go for it,..I am,..I'm a big JDM ITR fan-->andnormal ITR's and such just have a Front lip(painted or Carbon fiber) and it looks perfect,..even w/ the stock Side skirts.
The INGS+1 looks awesome I agree,..but unless you get the whole kit,..its gonna look Like *** with that Big ol' add on lip and nothing else following it down the side!

Veilside is Simple.almost like a Dealer acces. its that smooth.
even w/ out the Sides,..which the Veilside side flaps aren't much to look @ either way & a rear you don't even need,.but the rear valance looks good as well!

Its all up to you though

But now that the KNOCK NISMO kit is out,..for $400 morethen the veilside,..you can get the WHOLE NISMO kit w/ wing!!!!

So the next few days I'm still pondering the NISMO and saying fu*k a lip,..get the whole damn thing and get it painted when I can!
But I don't trust paint matching,.I do it for a living(not automotive paints though)and its tough,.but eaiser on a Brand New car then say a 4yr old car!
Painting a whole bumper worries me!

BUt I'll get over it,.I just want to know how much the people w/ the NISMO kit are paying to get it painted????????

Picture this(can't find the front angle pic)w/ instead of this body kit makers bumper on there,.a stock Front bumper w/ say the veilside vr.1 lip on it!
MAN IT would look killer!!!Slammed w/ just a lip will be very subtle,...I would say Big cool points to someone that was modest on their exterior then go all out for some damn Veilside Vr.2 or 3 ****--those are just too much!
But gotta @least have some decent wheels!

This would be the look I believe I'm going for! SMooth,..but damn,.I guess I'm eating my own words for wanting a NISMO kit,.I would just assume have that Little front Deffuser/lip that comes on the NISMO frt bumper then the whole kit,..thats just enough for me! BUt you can't get it by itself--the guy that is making the KNOCK NISMO kits--I'll see if maybe he'll sell me a lip peice off the NISMO bumper,..I mean he makes em',.should be able to Give me that peice before its attached?

 

The lip seems to really finsih the look, it blends in well with the rest of the car. When you place them side by side it makes the non-lipped Z look like it is missing something on the front end. I am contemplating a lip, but I am worried about clearance. Anyone know how much lower the front end becomes with the lip attached?

 

Id say about an 3/4-1"....thats suposedly what the Top Secret's lip spec was.

BTW, I'm NOT planning on putting on thse wheels or stickers...they were just part of the photo I was too lazy to remove. This is what Veilside originaly had on there (blek!)

wing looks good @ certain angles but I'm not gonna pay $700+ for a wing,..not that big'a fan of wings!

Brad4rdHay, I agree with you completely. I have kicked around the idea of various body additions and have decided to go with the Veilside 1 frontlip only. The pic of the Sema Z with the HRE rims really shows how sweet the body style of the z is. The exception is the front lip. I can see where a wing maybe nice too but that changes the whole statement. Not right or wrong just different. Rims, tires and front lip is the way to go for me...
