i have an 03 touring but the headlights are crapped out and want to get new ones.

if i buy base model headlights, would i be able to transfer the HID, ballast, ect, from my touring headlights to the base headlights?

would this require any modifications to the base lamp?

 

I'd advise you to transfer the front housing of the base over to your touring headlights. The plug of the base is different, the optics in the projector housing is different also, all the wiring is different in a base, and not to mention the plug itself is a 6 prong plug compared to your HID 8 prong. Save urself the headache and transfer the clear plastic housing instead.

 

im thinking you can, all you would need is a new plug. i got an oem hid kit from Jun and that thing pluged right in with the plug he provided. you might want to ask him but it might work.
