Whats the deal with Fiberimages? Does anyone know if they still make the kit for the Z?

So what's the deal with Fiberimages? Anyone?

 

sorry- been busy with stuff.

do they make it? probably. are they still around? to be honest? i dont know. my last contact with them was late last year when they told me to go away.

they told me they 'destroyed' the mold.. which is BS. your best luck is to contact an authorized FI dealer and buy whatever you want from them.

their management style is fukked up.

 

As far as I know, when I called them about a month or two ago they only produce the kit if you place an order, they do not stock them.

I think it was 680.+shiping for fiberglass and 780+ shiping for carbonfiber

 

Cheston, were you having problems with them? Also how was the fit finish of the kit? I was thinking of going FRP (I know you have the CF) do you know of its quality?

 

no problems with the kit, gap on the side skirts are a lil bigger than i wanted, but once painted its fine. the only problems i have with them is with the owner. he said i put too much 'stress' on him since i kept pushing for them to get their act together and start actually selling the vented fenders and vented hood design i gave them... me helping them sell stuff is 'stress' ?? whatever. yes i am bitter. but there are other kits that achieve my goal when i decide to change.

From what I can tell the only reason worth dealing with them is if you really wanted the kit in CF. Otherwise just go with the real thing in FRP. ???
I sort of want the sides and rears in CF.

FYI: they dont make a lip for a Z...

That's why it fit like $hit. He bought a Civic lip for his Z.

 

Actually I am considering their fiberglass front because the real one is around $1300.
