to clear or not 2 clear is my Q?
Right to the point my Z is getting a custom color and it had to be redone AGAIN after i wet sanded it 2nd time i like how it looks with no clear.. what do you guys think? like the skunk 2 RSX
how many coats of clear did they shoot the first time around???
How come u did a grey as a cusotm color??? looks like silverstone..
wetsanding removes clear but only to flatten. if you have a good amount of clear on it allready just compound and polish it. but if you didnt shoot much clear before the color sand...then you might want to shoot another 3wet coats clear. then color sand 2000 then cut and buff.

Im not into the flat look. They do make a flat clear. If you had three good coats of clear you could get everything out. 1200 1500 2000 buff. I started off in my garage where I did LOTS of bodywork. It was a very dirty place to paint. But in the end if your going to cut and buff it really doesnt matter.

just remember ep, the more u cut ur clear, the thinner its gonna be and the easeir itll burn when ur compounding it etc.
