Neither... Cheesey... They used to have Honda emblems that would light up or light up when you hit the brakes...

I think you need to see them before you draw conclusions, pictures don't do them justice, I have them in yellow/amber and love them. So far everybody who has seen them in person has liked them.

+1 you definitely need to see them in person ... mine are blue/amber. During the day they look like stock emblems (unless you're using your turn signal).

pics of mine ... a little on the ricey side ... but every Z owner I've run into likes the look ... to each their own ... personally I think it makes my car more unique ... not too many Zs have them.

That is Karl's turn signal install. Pretty tight if you ask me.

Karl's Blinker is going in this one. Also tight.

They're not too rice.. They don't look bad in the pictures, but for that price, I wouldn't buy them.

Bubble, are you saying that because you think it's expensive, because you think they are ugly or because you and Mike have gone back and forth over your headlights.

I thought you liked them when you saw them on my car, I hope you weren't lying, that would hurt my cars feelings.

If you can't install them yourself then definitely do not get these ... the amount of labor in just removing all of the 3M adhesive goop took me over an hour. Plus you have to tap into your parking and turn signal lights. If you don't know what you're doing you could eff things up.

You oughta check out this thread. https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-and-interior/183096-questions-about-the-zignalz-led-turn-signal-side-emblems-white.html
A lot of questions about the zignalz are answered here.

BTW - i have 'em and I like 'em. Most people don't even realize they are not OE emblems until they turn on. In my book rice needs to be race inspired first. Either you like them or you don't. Like having fuzzy dice hanging in your rear view mirror, it's just a little personalization to your ride and not trying to make yourself look like you have a race car if you don't. As far as the price, yes they are a bit pricey, but a lot goes into them (over 30 LEDs I believe) and the build quality is excellent.

1. Expensive & Rice
2. I like it on your car due to the fact that you wire them differently with the remote of your car. So i "like" your creativities. Smart when you can think of something unique and apply it.
3. I never said "I LIKE THE Zsignal"

um ... when you hit the remote to lock the car they blink twice ... hitting the remote to unlock will make them blink once i.e. they do whatever your turn signals do. If you install them correctly they're not wired any differently.

+1 If you wire them correctly, they should respond just like turn signals.

its VERY hard to make a Z "ricey." As long as you dont have a wing that makes it look like a shopping cart, I doubt a light is going to make it too civic-ish.

It's quite amusing that most of the "I like your lighted emblem" comments have come from the older crowd.

There are 34 LEDs under the "Z" and 4-6 for the rim.

You have to keep in mind, Bubble's comments stem, IMO, from the bad blood between he and Mike/boogiemyke (the inventor of the Zignalz).

I personally love them. And so much moreso, than what the other offerings are.
