NOW we're talking!! That looks great, big improvements over the previous prototype!

I would buy it just like that (though ofcourse in CF), any improvements from here is just bonus

Cheers

Oh also, in regards to the engine cover. Do you have any ideas as to if there will be any clearance issues with other aftermarkey strut tower bars? I would assume not but i just wanted to check.

Excellent! I'm sure if you are working on it, the center console pieces will be perfect as well! I know it's off topic, but any date on those? I would actually like to buy them as part of a package deal if possible!

Keep us posted Richie!

Hi mate,

If those strut braces clear the stock engine cover, you should not have any problem because the areas where the cover gets bolted down are the same as stock piece... we didn't raise those areas up! You might wanna check out the pictures to get exactly what I meant... having said that, if the strut brace is a very WIDE piece, then it might touch the rear section of the cover, but I doubt that will be an issue though as I believe there is no strut brace in the market that has such a tight clearance!

As for the interiors, I am not too sure about the release date though... I am sure Jay will give you guys more updates on that one...

cheers,

richie

Gents,

We are nearly there... a few more photos for you (today's work... yes... Sunday )

There are a couple of lines (right beside those 2 holes at the front end) that I would like my designer to smooth out and will extend the front big by around 1cm before we go ahead making a mould...

Enjoy the pics!

Here is the geniune Nismo piece once again...

cheers,

richie

Would this engine cover clear the kinetix V+ plenum? Because i have a carbon fiber cover form some off brand which i could not make it fit. It would slide in and then it would get stuck. I didn't want to take a chance breaking the plenum, so i decided to remove it. It looks like from the picture which shows the authentic Nismo engine cover that it would have plenty of clearance for the plenum. But i am still not sure how it would fit. Any input on this Richie??

Changvi,

I am not too sure if it will clear the K-V+ plenum though... but if the original engine cover clears it, it should really clear it as well since we didn't make any modification to the rear 2 mounting points and that's where most of the engine covers have problem with the strut brace or the plenum...

I will test the first CF sample and take some photos for you then, so you can take a look at it... won't be long now

cheers,

richie

Here are some FINAL PHOTOS before we smooth out the final prototype surface and ready for mould making... I can say... it is nearly 1:1 with the nismo piece now...
