Richie, would you also be interested in producing a CF radiator cooling plate, similar to the one offered by Varis? I believe Autotecknic also has one out, but I would rather purchase from you so that the CF weave is the same as the engine cover. Anyways, it's the FULL plate that looks like this:

we are making the mould on the engine cover already... we shall be able to see the first sample very soon in about 10 days time or so! I will definitely keep you posted and will start up a pre-order too from the time I show you the sample!

With the rest of the CF parts in the engine bay... I am looking into them now and hopefully we will come up with something that we can sell a lot I thought there are lot of different types of radiator cooling plate around already?! If there are enough interests, I will go down and get one done...

I'd be in on it if you made that exact plate. Thats the one i've bee wanting to pick up but if you could make it all match I'd be willing to wait for you to make them.

Like you stated, there are some other radiator cooling plates available, however, the Varis/Autotecknic style is the one that many people want since it goes all the way across verus just covering the middle. We COULD buy a Varis or Autotecknic one, but then the CF weave would possibly not match! So if you produce it, I think many would buy based on your quality and attention to detail.

BTW, will you include a badge plate with the engine cover? In particular, if you could cut a square with rounded edges and the 3 dash line holes on all the corners, that would be great. Even if it doesn't have a Nismo logo, that would be fine, since people may prefer different logos. But a "blank" pre-cut badge/plate would be nice, identical to the one on the silver CF portion:

We will only be offering the middle section with the nissan badge pre-cut... there will not be a version which has that square nismo badge section pre-cut. There are too many different type of requests and it is hard and costly to make different moulds just like that, unless people who would like those different ones are willing to pay for those customised pieces.

However, one thing that you can do is to draw out that little square yourself on that centre piece when you get the cover, then you can simply sand down the clear coat of that area with some sand papers to make a 0.1-0.2mm deep pre-cut yourself if you want to have that small badge fitted in there...

Thanks for the explanation mate and that's exactly the reason why I am making that piece!!!

I have got the nismo engine package installed, but the job was done in australia.... so too bad... I didn't ship the engine back to japan to get it built... so I didn't get to have the nismo engine cover... so I know exactly how things work...

Any news on engine cover final version in CF and Evo-r badge (to be fitted where the metal Nismo badge goes on the original)??

There is a slight delay.... and you guys should know why.... CF interior, Ford interior and other things... too much projects...

Having said that, we should see our first CF sample around the 25th this month... and with regards to the badge, it is most likely we will use this badge for the CF cover (silver base), Carbon Image is going to be the trading name of eQuibs soon in Australia...

Too bad the cover got delayed, im entering my car to a carshow tomorrow (last one for the year), would have been great to show of a new engine bay look with that Nismo CF cover, but i guess thats something new for next year

I was told by the workshop manager that we should have the first samples by end of next week... we have too many things going on... CF interiors, CF engine Cover, CF exteriors, CF interior for Ford... etc Sorry about the delay mate
