Any updates on this Richie? I hope you don't make any drastic changes like Jay did when he decided to split the CF center console in 2 pieces!

it is for sure gonna happen guys.... we have heaps of things to do really... and the look/design will still be the same

I am pushing for the first sample and hopefully in these few days I will receive it... it is a bit harder to control the production as I am not in the country... I will do my best guys... else I will take the model back and outsource to another factory that can make it for me if my factory cannot come out with the first sample in these few days...

cheers,

richie

Thanks for the update. And I say take your time and do it at the same factory you do your other work at since they seem to do excellent work. When you outsource, sometimes you don't know if the workmanship will be poor.

Also, if I recall correctly, you were going to include eQuibs badge. Please include this separately so that if we choose to install another badge we can do so. I'm sure this is what you were doing anyways, but just thought I'd run it by you!

BhashaZ,

We will be including "Carbon Image" brush-aluminium-like sticker to go with that... let me take a photo of that for you now... You can choose to have it on or off...

Photo of that will be up shortly!

cheers,

richie

Cool! Can't wait to see it! Any word on if you will be producing a Varis/Autotecknic-style CF radiator shroud? Like I said before, I would buy both from you just to ensure that the weave-styles are the same.

Here are those stickers.... they are specially made for THIS engine cover only.... but right now... I have only got those stickers ready.... I was told that the first sample will be out early next week guys... fingers crossed!

The only thing that's just a bit different is that the front 2 holes will not be as "deep".. and the difference will be made up with some machined "spacers" underneath the cover... reason being is that if the holes are too deep, the CF weaves will get distorted around that area by using our press moulds... and we have gone through 4 sets of moulds now just want to make the weave look nice.. hence the delay... I appologise for the wait guys!

What do you think of the "badge"??? all edges are rounded off too

cheers,

richie
