Default I am so sick of interior rattling!

Why did I pay almost 30k for a car in which so many interior panels rattle? I mean when I track one down it lets me hear another one....... I don't even want to go into how bad it rattles when my subs are going either! I think I am just going to strip every plastic piece from the interior! Do I really need them? [/rant]

But my dash rattles to..... My hatch only rattles on real bad roads, or when my base is hitting to hard.

I put about 75 sq.ft. worth of fatmat in mine and hunt down rattles as they come ... once you get more that two or three going it's darn hard to find them. An easy one to get was a rattle in the driver's side A pillar where the darn wiring harness vibrated. I got a second behind the driver's door where the harness was once again loose enough to vibrate.

The only rattle I have is the passenger side visor mirror. I tried putting some felt strips under the cover for the mirror but it still rattles. Anyone else fix this one?

I do have one comming from the A-pillar (or so I thought but now I have a good feeling) When I put my window module in I wrapped all the parts that could vibrate in foam with electrical tape! I THINK there is one in my dash right in front of the driver spot. I need to pull that part off and see what I can find. I want to rip the hatch off to but I dont know much much luck I would have there.

HockeyZ39 do NOT strip the interior, that is the biggest mistake. I drove a stripped 350z for 5 hours and it was the worst 5 hours of my life, seriousely, i highly recomend you don't strip your car

Have most of you got subs? Because that could be your problem. I love it when peolpe driving around have a couple of ampped up subs always cranked up, and then they wonder why there car rattles 2 months down the line. (Hint: Its because the subs are shaking your car loose, it happens to every car). I'm not saying this is your case, but it does contribute heavily if you like to play your base loud! All cars have ratlles, full stop, wether its a plastic nissan or a leather jag, they will all rattle eventually.

I just drive with the windows open, can't hear anything but the engine and exhaust. I only complain when it rains or when I must use the A/C/

I do have subs, but do not really worry about the rattles from the hatch. I am sure the sub did not cause the rattles in my dash which are the ones I hear the most and also **** me off the most...
