Hey guys, I know nismo sells the airbag harness for after market seats, but Performance seems to be out of them.

I found some stuff on resetting the ecu to make the light stop, put I havent found to much info.

So can I reset the ecu and will it kill the sirbag light or is there another way ???

I had exactley the same problem as you with mynismo being out of stock,

After some little help of the kind people here, its all sorted ..

All you need is a 2.2 ohm resistor placed between the 2 wiires under your seats (just use some cable splicers ) .

Do the reset procedure and your good to go...

Do I need this airbag light defeat/resistor if I do not have side-air bags? Or is this for all Zs doing a seat swap? I have a Misano coming in next week (hopefully). I'd like to do the install just once. :-)
