I live in frisco and go to allen all the time to see my parents, we should meet up sometime so I can see this thing in person! I have been thinking about one of these for some time.

Sure! We have local meets every two weeks (check the pinned posts in the Texas forum for the Dallas meets).

We're having a dyno day at HPP this Saturday. I'll be there around 10-10:30. If you've been wanting to dyno your car you can get a discount and a free lunch. And while you're there you can check out the cubby.

Ya, she's finally in!

And ya, the gap is there temporarily. I have vinyl all cut and ready to go in there so the gap will disappear. But I've been lazy. And now I have to push it aside again to go clean the car before dyno day tomorrow. :-)

On top of that I was having a few small connectivity issues with the ribbon cable which connects the door motor to the lid amp processor.. the cable is kinda flimsy, even for a ribbon cable. I think I've got it all worked out so I may "lock it up" by applying the vinyl over the gaps.

Where did you get the Nismo gear shift surround? The gray plastic piece. I love that. I also love the darker emblems. Were they custom made?

Thx!
The emblems came from CourtesyParts.com. Not sure what you mean by the "surround". Do you mean the h-pattern logo cap? That came with the shifter. If you mean the leather shift boot, that is OEM.

Cheers,

I am talking about the silver plastic around the shift boot. I am not sure how else to discribe this. Sorry!

No need. It should be good news, cuz now if you want that part you know you can easily find it at Nissan. Just cuz it's not "aftermarket" doesn't mean it can't be "custom"!

Not sure if it will fit other years on the clip side. But as far as I can tell the only changes are on the outside (and you'd get the matching HVAC controls).
