The look is very neato, and I've done the same for my friend's Accord. After awhile I got tired of the blue lights because it wasn't so practical. I'd very much prefer white lighting instead. Trust me, it'll come in handy ehehe.

I have the 9 bulb white LED clusters all of in mine and they are great. Those are a bit too blue for my taste.

theres a guy on 350zmotoring that has that same type of set up but with clear super white. it looks very classy

 

What happens when you actually need to see something?

 

 

Well You open your sun visor it has a bright light! Guys they are map lights, its 2006 if your still using a map thats folds or a map book you are very old school!!

 

They cost 15 bucks with shipping from Ebay the company is called Motormax.

 

I have 6LED Superwhites that actually shine a little blue. Those look real good to me.

Those blue lights make it nearly impossible to see when you are looking for something...

Even the LED interior lighting used in the newer Lexus cars makes it a little difficult to see because the light is almost like a spotlight (narrow beam of light)

 

Exactly! If you are actualy trying to read something in your car, you'll kick yourself because stock bulbs actually do a good job

But I don't do any reading in my Z, I have navigation so who needs maps anyways?

 

Maybe people without navigation?
