Default Anyone with PROBLEMS with Avalon Racing? AND I WTB 03-04 Nissan Headlight Housings

I am having a horrible horrible time with Avalon Racing...Has anyone else had trouble with these guys?? I ordered Ings+1 Fenders and a Seibon VT hood from them in May...I still have NO TRACKING NUMBERS and no clue when I am getting shipment...I am so trying to keep my patience and not flame them on the boards but it is getting close......

ALSO

Any vendors out there who want to sell new Nissan Headlight Housings??? I have Strobes in mine and I want to redo them so I need driver and passanger housings with the parking light..

Let me know want to buy NOW

Be patient. I bought my Nismo exhaust, LMTG4s and F&R AP BBK from these guys. They do hit the track sometimes and are out of touch for few days. I've always had good communication with them, sometimes slow but good. I was provided with tracking numbers on each shipment. It did take some pressing on one order, but I eventually got it. Also, I think a lot of what they sell is not in-stock. For example, the exhaust and wheels. Both were ordered from Nissan dealer and then shipped from Avalon Racing. Takes a little longer, but the prices are good.

Be patient. If you worked any sort of deal for cheaper parts they are probably trying source them from diffrent vendors. Took me a long time to get all my parts. Just keep in touch with them. They were good at replying to my PM's.

That sound sound quite right. They realy dont have a customer suport, they have one person that answers the phone. How much did you call?

If you have paid by CC and you have some sort of reciept you get your product. If you call it even after one or two calls then thats more your fault because you let them have your money. You have rights and if you wave them that your own deal.

In no way am I standing up in there defence. I ordered ALOT from them and it took 4 months and it took calls weekly and keeping a list of items I've recieved and items I havnt. My TT Kit took almost 6 months by the time I had it in my hands. But I saved almost $2000 and my order was about $10,000 total($9,870 ish). About a 20% discount and no shipping costs. A few phone calls are worth that. Look at some of my early posts in the Hawaii thread its all there.

IMHO you gave up on your own money. Again if you worked any kind of deal the parts were out sourced. If you quit calling your stuff will just sit there because the out sourcing is not automated. They have to get one of there people to find the cheap part for you not just pull it off the shelf. If you quit calling you gave a donation. Thats for any company.

Wow..that's quite a long time, as an ebay vendor, if our products don't get to our customers within a week, they start threatening negatives...i should start a non-ebay store...so much less pressure

so yeah guy who started this, you should have an e reciept for your payment, they are pretty good at itemized statments too. If you produce that it will be easier for them to help you. See what you can dig up and send it to those guys.

Some thing seems off about the whole thing, in genral not one side or the other. Companies just dont loose $100 plus dollar orders and no one gives up on $100 plus dollars. If so man send me a check I will gladly cash it and send you nothing

Paul if Chris K is the guy who runs the company then I really do not know what to say....Well actually I do know what to say but you guys still cannot deliver on my order from friggin May...So if I say what is on my mind I probably will never see these parts...

Just so EVERYONE knows..I put an order in for a Seibon Hood VT Style, and INGS+1 Fenders. I still do NOT have a date for them to be shipped to me and everyweek I have to chase Chris to find out what is going on with my order. Like I said I ordered these parts in MAY.

Every week it is the same story..."Umm we do not know what the hold up is and I am contacting INGS and Seibon" Then I do not hear from him till I contact him the next week...Or he does not even answer my emails...

This experiance has flat out SUCKED with Avalon..Oh and as a "show of good faith" they are taking 5% off the order and free shipping..

For the hood - there is a major carbon shortage - Chris told me that it was going to take a while. Ings also had to build and deliver the parts from Japan. Did you talk to Chris on the status?

I have a number of friends who have orders with other companies on the Seibon hood and the same thing exists.

If you want ot cancel the order feel free to discuss with Chris. And then get in line with another vendor and it will start the clock over again.

I posted his cell number - call him directly to resolve.

No one has the parts and everyone has to wait. That has always been the situation with INGs. There is in fact a wo0rld wide shortage on Carbon

Regards

You can cancel the order by talking to Chris. Get a refund if you do not like the lead time. I do believe you have been in contact with him. Work it out.

For years and years before we incorporated with never had a customer not get their parts. Since Chris became the head of sales and service, I am not aware of any other issues. Yes we all have to live with bad leadimes - That is the mfg's fault not the company distributing the product.

Call Ings USa and ask them about the leadtimes.

I have emailed him back and forth and he gives me the same vague answers as you wrote...I knew there was a carbon fiber shortage...BUT I ordered these parts at the same time in MAY. He quoted me the fenders from INGS in japan 8 to 10 weeks...I am now into 14 weeks and there isn't and fiberglass shortage right??

The same goes with Seibon...He told me 2 weeks ago he would have tracking numbers on both items now the STORY is that it will be a few more weeks...This whole situation is ridiculous..I am not going to cancel the order for the simple fact that it has been this long and I am NOT starting over...

He does not update me on the regular..I have to chase him and it really is starting to aggravate me.. I am seriously considering legal action which he already knows about..

He gets his status from the importer of the products. He passes on what he gets from them.

Ings has been a pain since they started importing into the US.

You will get your parts as soon as they arrive. It is out of his control other than to push on them.

Legal action will waste your money. All they will do is ask Chris as the CEO to give you a refund. You had that option all along.

Legal action, threats etc will not get the product here any quicker. Ask him for the numbers to the importers and get the data directly. He placed the order with them the day you placed the order. That process has never changed before during and after the incorporation.

I am not sure flaming his company does you or him any good. Work with him on data or cancel. Threads like this do not solve the problem. I know as fact that he mentioned he had this order taking forever to come in. If you think he is happy about the lead time you are mistaken.

Again - he can only supply the information he gets.

Regards

Dude freakin wipe the sand out of that bloody axwound, and be patient. I waited the 4 months mentioned previously, and thats when the parts started to come. The last part arived at my place over 6 months. If you want to put it in you week terms the parts started to come in at 17weeks and finished at 26 weeks.

So I would have loved your responce time where you are only waitning on 1 or 2 parts after 14 weeks. When you sorce out all your parts and a good portion oversease you are going to have major delays. Weather, customs, shortages, high volue due to order time (more orders are in spring/summer to prep for a fall winter build).

There is absolutley no reason for this thread faming Avalon publicly. As for your legal action this can be held against you because there were many offers of refund not taken and in somcases this might be slander (depending in the state). They would have a good counter suite if worse came to worse. Your best action is the route you chose: deal with the delays; keep taking your prosac, and chill.

If there are any mods out there can I recomend this thread be closed, this is a private matter that is only being used to bring bad press on a sponsor for providing services to forum members. This matter is best handled between the 2 parties in private. Server space does not need to be wasted on these useless threads.
