well, just like the title says. My C-west cf lip that i just installed crack today 'cause i scraped the curve will parking my car. So pissed , the bottom is cracked to the point that it could split up the lip into half. However, the area that's visible is also cracked in the same manner but only half way through the lip. My question is that is the crack gonna spread from daily driving? If not should i spend more time and money getting the C-west lip again, or I should just go with something a bit cheaper?

The lip is very different and depending on if you paint it, leave it all carbon, or a little of both, you get some pretty cool reactions. I've had mine for about 8 months now and one big close call. ( Ran over what I thought was a McDonalds bag.....yeah, it was a rock) It seems pretty darn durable though. I'm happy with it.

it will spread out more from your daily drive. You can bring to any local bodyshop to fix it but you will not be able to see the CF portion since they will need to bondo over and paint it.

I would buy a new bumper. This is a chance for something new.

Are they gonna bondo the whole thing? 'cause my center piece is cf, and the sides are painted. I like the OEM bumper, that's why i just wanna get the lip...but again, i'll see.

they just bondo at the cracking area only. IF the crack is not from the center where your CF show then you don't have to worry about it.

then you're farked.
