Default need pics of 06 headlights turned on

ok im out of work with pnomonia and cant do this myself.

i need someone to do one of 2 things for me.

a. either take pics of the 06 lights turned on or
b. tell me if your turn signal lights stay lit when the lights are on. (kinda like running lights)

i have the 06 headlights in my 04 and my turn signals stay lit when i have the lights on. they still flash when i use the turn signals. but i could have sworn i saw a 06 drive past me and his werent lit when he passed me.

any help with this would be appriciated

thanks

John

i don't have pics, but mine stay off until i turn the blinker on. i thought it was peculiar too, i've heard they stay on for some people. when i was getting info for my chrome turn signal bulbs, i went through the same thought process.

I've got an 06 and the blinker stays off until the turn signal is turned on. I took pics but my damn ftp is down! The lower white bulb stays lit while just the parking lights are on and no blinker.

https://my350z.com/forum/media-share/207836-nitrouz-exterior-completed-caution-big-pics.html

I know Nitrouz is a retro... One picture shows it with both on (like you said yours is doing) and the other picture shows just the headlight on without the blinker light on... So im not sure...

Wonder if there is a fix for that... then again I hardly ever drive my Roadster at night...

Might have to use the 06' harness to fix it

Well I notice the '06 models are using a dual filament bulb even though '06 owners say it doesn't light up at night when the headlights are on.

I asked about this months ago, and people told me I was wrong about the bulbs. A search on other sites list the bulb as dual filament.

You can probably bypass this by getting a single filament bulb since the secondary conductor will be absent. I can't guarantee the fitment if the two are keyed differently.

my pleasure.

Not sure about how to correct this...but another thing that I have to think about is how to get my daytime running lights back for when I move back to Canada...

This should clear things up.
I have an 06 HID with super white parking light and super white turn signal.

Here's a picture with Low Beam, Parking Light, and 4 amber LEDs

I have posted a thread before asking why there are 2 filament in the front turn signal bulbs. Since only one of the filament lights up when the front turn signal is used and the other filament never turns on. However, no one was able to answer that. I got a filling it's for the European cars the left or right parking lights are turned on after the car is parked, like the BMW, Audi, and Mercedes.
